Bolingbrook Police Blotter: Hitchhiking, Hit and Run

Driving under the influence, a wallet stolen in IKEA and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Oct. 14-15.

Oct. 15 

Driving under the influence 

Ozram Marzo, 26, 274 Cobb Cir., was arrested at 3:02 a.m. and charged with DUI and no taillights following traffic stop at Hampshire Lane and Winston Drive, police said.

Wallet stolen from purse in IKEA 

A wallet was stolen from a purse at IKEA, 750 E. Boughton Rd. at 6:30 p.m., police said.

In-state warrant 

Edgar Morales, 21, 160 Malibu Dr. was arrested at 7 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 600 block of Kingsbrooke Crossing, police said. 

Oct. 14 

Hit and run, hitchhiking, driving under the influence 

Jose Guzman-Gomez, 24, 315 Woodcreek Dr., was arrested at 11:59 a.m. and charged with two counts of hit and run, no valid driver’s license, no insurance, two counts of DUI, hitchhiking and illegal transportation of alcohol on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Delfino Jimenez, 24, 108 Delmar Dr., was arrested at 4:11 a.m. and charged with DUI, improper lane usage, failure to notify damage, driving on a suspended license, hit and run and no insurance on the 500 block of Remington Boulevard, police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Jose Amador, 50, 109 Rocklyn Ct., was arrested at 10:21 p.m. and charged with two counts of DUI, improper turn at intersection and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop at Lee Lane and Lexington Drive, police said. 

In-state warrant 

Michael Edwards, 57, 434 Salem Square, was arrested at 3:47 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant, police said.
