Bolingbrook Police Blotter: Man Threatened Patrons, Staff

Assault, car theft and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Dec. 15 and 16.

Dec. 16 

BB gun shot at patio door 

Officers were called to the 400 block of Standish Court for the report of criminal damage to property, police said. A BB gun was shot in a rear patio door of the residence, shattering the glass sometime overnight.

Assault 

Terrance Kulick, 50, 582 Cambridge Way, was arrested and charged with assault after a call to a business on the 300 block of N. Schmidt Road, police said. Kulick was reportedly threatening patrons and staff.

Resisting a peace officer 

Malik Chappell, 19, 1863 Marne Rd., was arrested at 7 p.m. and charged with resisting a peace officer on the 100 block of Larchmont Way, police said. 

Car stolen from driveway 

A 1996 Saturn was stolen from a driveway on the 300 block of Blackfoot Drive between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Richard Robles, 19, 419 Assembly Dr., was arrested at 3:13 a.m. and charged with DUI following a traffic stop on the 300 block of Commons Drive, police said.

Roman Rapatalo, 21, 1568 Trails End Ln., was arrested at 4:16 a.m. and charged with speeding and DUI following a traffic stop on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, police said. 

Dec. 15 

Purse stolen from car 

A purse was stolen from a car on the 600 block of Sundance Drive between 12:40 p.m. and 1 p.m., police said. 

Man charged with hanging out of car window 

Donald Heath, 24, 771 John St., Naperville, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. and charged with reckless conduct following a traffic stop after hanging out of a vehicle window, police said. 

Disorderly conduct, resisting a peace officer 

Marquis Davis, 19, 516 Jill Ln., was arrested at 8:50 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of resisting a peace officer after filing a false 9-1-1 report, police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Joi Phoenix, 30, 473 Galahad Rd., was arrested at 3:48 a.m. and charged with DUI following a traffic stop on the 500 block N. Pinecrest Road, police said.
