Bolingbrook Police Blotter: Office Burglary, Tablets Stolen from Kohl's

Arrests and incidents reported in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Nov. 26-29.

Nov. 29 

Aggravated battery 

Anthony Segura, 24, 590 Miner Dr., was arrested at 2:35 a.m. and charged with aggravated battery following a call to the 100 block of E. North Frontage Road, police said. The victim was pushed and thrown to the ground and treated for his or her injuries.

Nov. 28 

License plates stolen

A set of license plates were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 300 block of W. Crossroads Parkway between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., police said. 

Nov. 27 

Tablets stolen from Kohl's 

Officers were called to Kohl’s, 1138 W. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft, police said. Two suspects were seen removing the security wrap and exiting the store with two Zeki tablets at 7:35 p.m. The loss was valued at $300.

Possession of controlled substance 

Michelle James, 41, 720 2nd Ave., Woodruff, WI, was arrested at 8:22 p.m. and charged with possession of controlled substance, according to police. Scott Laplante, 27, 720 2nd Ave., Woodruff, WI, and Samantha Young, 21, 225 Hwy 47, Lac Du Flambeau, WI, were both arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug equipment, following a traffic stop on the 100 block of E/N Frontage Road. 

Nov. 26 

Office burglary 

Officers responded to a business on the 400 block of W. Crossroads Parkway for the report of a burglary, police said. Someone entered a locked office and stole a Dell laptop and cell phone. A rear door was damaged to gain entry between Nov. 23 and 26. The loss and damage were valued at $1,350. 

Package stolen 

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Coventry Lane for the report of a theft, police said. Witness states they saw someone steal a package that was delivered to a residence at 2:30 p.m.
