Bolingbrook Police Blotter: Pair Steals from Macy's

Retail theft, contempt of court and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Oct. 11.

Oct. 11 

Theft from Macy's 

DeAaron Wims, 18, 8228 S. Maryland Ave., Chicago and a 16-year-old were both arrested at 7:11 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Macy’s, 645 E. Boughton Rd., Bolingbrook police said. 

Contempt of court 

Fernando Fuentes, 25, 231 Haller Ave., Romeoville, was arrested at 10:37 a.m. and charged with contempt of court on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road, police said. 

Resisting a peace officer 

Mark Escobedo, 28, 453 Greentree Ln., was arrested at 10:22 p.m. and charged with resisting a peace officer at 10:22 pm

Driving under the influence 

Clifford Ragland, 23, 470 Monarch Ln., was arrested at 1:15 a.m. and charged with DUI and speeding following a traffic stop at Hampshire Lane and Ashbury Road, police said. 

In-state warrant 

Vincent Kowalski, 22, 160 Bowman Ct., was arrested at 10 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 400 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive, police said.
