Bolingbrook Police Blotter: Playground Equipment Stolen

Car keyed, credit card fraud and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Oct. 15.

Oct. 15 

Theft, criminal defacement 

Officers were dispatched to the park on the 200 block of W. Briarcliff Road for the report of a theft and criminal defacement, police said. Two pieces of playground equipment were found missing and graffiti was spraypainted between Oct. 13 and 15. 

Car keyed 

A car parked on the 700 block of E. Boughton Road was keyed between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., police said. 

Stereo stolen from locked car 

A stereo was stolen from a locked car on the 100 block N. Schmidt Road between Oct. 14 and 15, police said. 


Alicia Staples, 30, 460 Wyeth Cir., was arrested at 4:17 p.m. and charged with battery after an altercation on the 300 block of Dean Circle, police said. 

Credit card fraud, fradulent driver's license 

Wilma Naylor, 33, 5758 S. Green St, Chicago, was arrested at 6:16 p.m. and charged with credit card fraud and fraudulent driver’s license after making a purchase at Macy’s, 645 E. Boughton Rd., police said.
