Ceiling vents stolen from construction site 

Thirty ceiling vents were stolen from a construction site on the 2000 block of John Paul Jones Lane between August 1 and 2, said. The loss valued at $500.

Wii, Xbox game systems stolen

A Wii and Xbox game system were stolen from a residence on Lot L of Fernwood Drive between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., police said.

Light fixtures damaged

Officers were called to a building on the 1800 block of Apple Valley Drive for the report of criminal damage to property, police said. Light fixtures were damaged between August 1 and 2. 

Theft from Home Depot

William Bascom, 49, 2700 N. Lakeview Dr., Chicago, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. and charged with retail theft at Home Depot, 105 N. Weber Rd., police said.

Wire cut and removed from construction site 

Officers were called to the 500 block of Gary Drive for the report of a burglary, police said. Nearly 5,000 feet of wire was cut and removed between August 1 and 2.  The loss was valued at $1,200. 

Rear fender of a car scratched

The rear fender of a vehicle parked on the 400 block of E. Briarcliff Road was scratched between midnight and 8 a.m., police said.

Violation of order of protection 

James Cooper, 52, of 501 Preston Dr., was arrested at 4:38 p.m. and charged with violation of order of protection on the 500 block of Preston Drive, police said.

In-state warrant

Chad Conley, 28, of 236 Falconridge Way, was arrested at 5:06 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 100 block S. Bolingbrook Drive, police said.
