Police Blotter: Woman Charged with Damaging Car

Battery, theft from Wal-Mart and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Sept. 26-27.

Sept. 27 

Battery 

Officers were called to Lot M of Beaconridge Drive for the report of a battery at 11:28 p.m., police said.

Theft from Wal-Mart 

Darren Crowder, 31, of 732 Melissa Dr., was arrested at 2:05 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., police said.

In-state warrant 

Maurice Vespo, 33, 109 Olympic Dr., was arrested at 9:08 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Schmidt Road and Seneca Way, police said. 

Sept. 20 

Woman charged with damaging parked car 

Whitney Edwards, 23, of 503 Pico St. in Joliet, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property, after damaging a vehicle parked on the 400 block of W. Crossroads Boulevard on Sept. 5, police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Lorraine Jackson, 47, 220 Falconridge Way, was charged with failure to signal and DUI, following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Dr. & Lee Ln. at 7:21 pm.
