Two Bolingbrook men were arrested. And two Bolingbrook robbery cases were closed.
Richard D. Poe, 17, of 324 Evergreen, Bolingbrook; and Douglas E. Fagan, 17, of 447 Yorkshire, Bolingbrook, were apprehended by police on Tuesday, Lt. Mike Rompa said. Both were interviewed, charged in felony robbery cases and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Rompa said Fagan allegedly was the one who took a phone from a 42-year-old male victim sitting outside the entrance doors at Walmart Supercenter, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., at 10:35 p.m. on Oct. 8. Rompa said Fagan was working with Poe and both were charged with one count of robbery in the Walmart case.
Rompa said Fagan eluded police at the time of the incident, while another suspect, Angel Velez, was found in a group at the park district basketball courts a short time later and taken into custody for allegedly attempting to steal a man's wallet.
So, Fagan is facing two felony counts for robbery and Poe one felony count for robbery, according to Will County Sheriff's Office records.
