Bolingbrook Police: Group Batters Victim, Steals Money

Car burglary, disorderly conduct and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Oct. 16-17.

Oct. 17 

Driving under the influence 

Jorge Garcia, 26, 245 Cedarwood Ave., was arrested at 9:29 p.m. and charged with DUI following a traffic stop, police said.

Oct. 16 

Robbery

Vincent Fenner, 18, 237 Hadleigh Dr., Rodney Mayes, 17, 312 Woodcreek Dr. and a 16-year-old were all arrested at 5:36 p.m. and charged with robbery on the 100 block of Somerset Lane after battering the victim and taking his or her money, police said. 

Car burglary 

Officers were called to the 1000 block of Chelsea Lane for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle, police said. The vehicle was left unlocked and an unknown offender attempted to remove the stereo between Oct. 15 and 16. 

In-state warrant 

Tommy Hardy, 55, 3552 83rd St., Woodridge, was arrested at 1:24 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 200 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive, police said. 

Disorderly conduct, in-state warrant 

Darris Frazier, 25, 443 Mallview Ln., was arrested at 8:14 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and Emerson Harris, 24, 443 Mallview Ln., was charged with an in-state warrant, police said.
