It's amazing how many "Francis Regan's" we have registered on the site. If your only purpose is to violate our Terms of Use, we will suspend your account. Commenting is meant to foster discussion, not for personal attacks. Use your real name and comment appropriately.

I've gotten rid of the eighth or ninth other Francis Regan account.
Melissa Sersland August 13, 2012 at 09:51 PM
I am beginning to think I should just ban ALL of the Francis Regan accounts and be done with this nonsense.
Francis M. Regan August 13, 2012 at 10:08 PM
It would still happen regardless what name I use. It's an immature person doing this. Sorry.

Melissa the real fix is if the patch web site makes it where one person uses a screen name with their account , another person that registers can't use the same screen name that's already being used. Most blogs and sites do that.

The real solution would be to ban all of the jerks from the start and not let things progress to this state. Francis, would be the first to go.

sadly, this pathetic soul is now using a variation on the spelling of Francis, so now you have to ban Francis and Frances W. Regan as well. Can someone please get this "person" a job!?

Let's see the all Chicago papers, Washington Post, Huffington Post and other major papers and news outlets have comments sections for their stories.

Okay, first of all, kudos to all the agencies that worked to get this creep off the streets. Second of all, thanks to Melissa for trying to get the immature and ridiculous posters off of the Patch.

Yaaay, Melissa! You shouldn't have to deal with this kind of thing, but I'm glad you take the time to keep our Patch safe!
