Man Charged with Internet Child Pornography

A 30-year-old Bolingbrook man was arrested Wednesday following an ongoing investigation of Internet child pornography.

A 30-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday and charged with one count of Internet child pornography, according to .

Around 6:30 a.m. Aug. 8, the Bolingbrook Police Department's Raid Entry and Containment Team executed a search warrant at a residence on the 800 block of Ayers Street. The warrant was obtained as the result of an ongoing investigation of Internet child pornography. 

A forced entry was made to the front door of the home and the occupants were located and secured. Andrei F. Vaicius, 30, was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated child pornography, a class X felony.

Vaicius was processed and subsequently transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility in Joliet. 

The investigating agencies included the Will County State’s Attorneys Office and the Will County High Tech Crimes Unit, who were working for the Illinois Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force.
