Police: $24K in Goods Stolen from 2 Homes in 2 Days

A burglary in which $6,300 in goods were stolen occurred the day after a burglary in which $18,000 in goods were stolen, Bolingbrook police said.

The day after $18,000 in goods were stolen from a home, $6,300 in goods were stolen from another. 

Between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., a bedroom window of a home in the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive was pried open and a TV, watch, DVD player, speakers, audio mixer, bass guitar and keyboard were stolen, police said.

The loss was valued at $6,300.

The day before, a residential burglary took place on Beaver Creek Court. Someone entered through a basement window and took numerous pieces of gold jewelry, Plasma TV, laptop and a briefcase with U.S. currency between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The loss was valued at over $18,000.
