Bolingbrook Police: Residential Burglary, Car Theft

Window broken and purse, phone stolen from car
A window was broken to a car on Honeysuckle Court, police said. A purse, cell phone and debit card were stolen between Nov. 5 and 6.

Possession of drug equipment, controlled substance
Freddy Acosta, 41, 16308 S. Peerless Ct., Plainfield, was arrested at 3:49 p.m. and charged with violation of order of protection, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug equipment following a traffic stop in Lot J of Beaconridge Drive, police said.

Reckless driving, obstructing justice
Steven Onken, 52, 16841 77th St., South Haven, MI, was arrested at 1:47 p.m. and charged with reckless driving and obstructing justice following a traffic stop on the 200 block of Old Chicago Drive, police said.
In-state warrants
Aaron Doss, 31, 1615 Richfield Trails, Romeoville, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. and charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, no valid registration and an in-state warrant, police said. Sharai Doss, 39, 233 Plainview Dr., was also arrested and charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop on the 300 block of Commons Drive, police said.
Nov. 5
Residential burglary
Officers responded to the 300 block of Falconridge Way, for the report of a residential burglary, police said. Two rear windows were found open, one window broken and the bedrooms were ransacked between Oct. 22 and Nov. 5 and unknown items taken.
Failure to display license, disregarding stop sign
Duane Stanford, 33, 3608 Peach Grove, Hazel Crest, was arrested at 11:27 a.m. and charged with disregarding a stop sign, failure to display license, no proof of insurance and expired driver’s license on the 100 block of Winston Drive, police said.
In-state warrant, failure to dim headlights
Shantiel Patterson, 32, 11009 S. Esmond Ave., Chicago was arrested at 11:40 p.m. and charged with failure to dim headlights, in–state warrant and driving on a suspended license at Woodcreek Drive and Lily Cache Lane, police said.
In-state warrant
Maurico Castillo, 42, 310 Musial Cir., was arrested at 11:30 a.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road, police said.
