Police: Teens Punch and Throw Woman to Ground, Steal Cash

Three teenagers were arrested Tuesday after a robbery in Bolingbrook. Three more people were allegedly involved in the incident.

Six people allegedly punched a woman in the face several times, threw her to the ground and stole $300 from a man on Tuesday, according to Bolingbrook police. 

Police responded to the 100 block of Somerset Lane at 5:36 p.m. for the report that six people had attacked two victims and stole cash. The victims were a 23-year-old male and 22-year-old female. Minor injuries were reported. 

Police found three individuals matching descriptions of the offenders running across Route 53 toward Pheasant Hill Shopping Center. The three were then identified as being involved in the robbery.

Rodney Mayes, 17, Vincent Fenner, 18, and a 16-year-old were all arrested and charged with robbery. 

The two adults were transported to Will County Adult Detention Facility. The juvenile was also charged with robbery and transported to River Valley Juvenile Facility.
