Police: Thefts from Cars Parked in Garages

In two separate incidents, a purse was stolen from a car parked in garages. 

On Aug. 25, a purse was stolen from a car parked in a garage on the 100 block of Lee Lane, said. A witness saw someone enter the garage and take the purse at 2:37 p.m. and run away. 

Then, on Aug. 21, a purse was stolen from a car parked in a garage on the 300 block of Springmist Court between Aug. 20 and 21, police said. The loss was valued at $96.
