Police: Thief Displays Gun, Strikes Victim and Steals Wallet

The victim was transported to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital after being hit in the head by the thief, according to Bolingbrook police.

A victim was transported to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital after an aggravated robbery, according to Bolingbrook police.

The incident took place on Oct. 1 at 9:18 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Bolingbrok Drive. 

The victim told police he or she was approached by an unknown subject who asked for change. That person then displayed a handgun and hit the victim in the head. The thief took the victim's wallet and then ran off. The victim was taken to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital for their injuries.
