Bolingbrook Stabbing Victim Denies Police Assistance
Naperville Police say man's head wounds are minor.
A Bolingbrook stabbing victim at in Wednesday evening asked that police not get involved in the incident.
"Our officers were at the hospital for an unrelated call," Sgt. Gregg Bell said Thursday.
The male victim, who was not named in the report, got into an altercation in Bolingbrook around 9 p.m. Wednesday, police said. He suffered stab wounds to the head, but Bell said the wounds were minor.
"To my knowledge, nothing pierced his skull or anything of that nature," he said. "His injuries were non-life threatening."
The man denied assistance from both Naperville and Bolingbrook police departments, Bell said.
