Two men robbed a Radio Shack on Boughton Road in Bolingbrook at lunchtime Wednesday. Armed with guns, they tied up an employee's hands and feet, police said.

The Bolingbrook Police responded to a call at 1196 W. Boughton Road at 12:34 p.m., according to a department press release.

Two men entered the store, asking about cell phones. One of the alleged robbers then showed a silver handgun to the male employee.

Next, the two suspects escorted the employee to the back of the store where they tied his hands and feet, forcing him into a chair, the release said.

"(The alleged suspects) then proceeded to take laptops, smartphones and the store video surveillance and then exited the store through a rear door," the release said. "The victim was able to exit the front door and seek assistance."

The two male subjects are described as black males in their 20s. One is 5 feet five inches tall, about 120 pounds. He has "light complexion, mustache, wearing a khaki floppy hat, t-shirt and blue jeans," the report said.

The other suspect is described as having "dread locks, mustache with goatee, dark skin, wearing blue baseball hat" and jeans, it said.

Police believe the two men possibly fled in a silver four-door sedan with tinted windows. The incident remains under investigation.

The Bolingbrook Police Department Media Relations Officer Mike Rompa could not be immediately reached for comment.
