Death of Bolingbrook HS Grad Joshua Ramza Still a Mystery

Visitation for Romeoville resident Joshua Ramza will take place Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in Naperville.

The death of Romeoville resident and Bolingbrook High School graduate Joshua Ramza remains a mystery after an autopsy was inconclusive, according to the Chicago Sun-Times

Ramza was a 2006 graduate of Bolingbrook High School and a senior at Blackburn College. He was found dead in his dorm room Saturday. He was 24. 

Macoupin County Coroner Brad Targhetta anticipates receiving toxicology results in the next 45 days, according to the Sun-Times. Ramza had no known medical issues but had been suffering from the flu for two weeks before his death.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive. 

Ramza was a double major in psychology and criminal justice. He wanted to be a probation officer, his mother, Janet Meininger told the Sun-Times

He was also an avid soccer player, having played in junior high, at BHS and at Blackburn. Ramza dreamed of playing professionally. Students are planning a memorial service for Ramza on Monday and are considering a permanent memorial for him -- his name etched on a stone near the soccer fields.
