Degas Circle Burglars Make Off with More than $30,000 in Goods: Police Report

Officers report that a sliding rear door was forced open during Dec. 3 incident.

Two TV's, a fur coat and items totaling more than $30,000 in value were reported missing following a recent residential burglary in Bolingbrook, according to police reports.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, Lt. Mike Rompa said.

The incident occurred on Dec. 3 in the 400 block of Degas Circle, according to police reports. Officers discovered a sliding rear door was forced open. Items reported missing: Two TV's, video games, a laptop computer, desktop computer, three watches, a fur coat, speakers and a set of golf clubs.

Police report the value of the loss at $30,900.

Rompa said the house was unoccupied at the time of the incident, which was reported by a resident.
