Cynthia Beckerman is charged an an identity theft case, according to Bolingbrook Lt. Mike Rompa.

About a month after being released from incarceration, a 47-year-old Bolingbrook woman booked a return trip to jail on a felony charge of aggravated identity theft, Bolingbrook Lt. Mike Rompa said.

Cynthia A. "Cindy" Beckerman was arrested by Bolingbrook police who were responding to a call for help in the 600 block of Goldenrod Drive at 9:50 a.m. Monday, Rompa said.

"Upon (the) officer's arrival, it was alleged a Cindy Beckerman opened a credit card account in her father's name, social security number and deceased mother's name," Rompa said. "She was then using the account for purchases and cash advances."

Rompa said Beckerman was released from incarceration in October for identity theft and fraud convictions. This time, he said she was interviewed by officers on the scene, taken into custody, processed and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Beckerman was scheduled to appear in bond court on Tuesday.
