Freezing Rain Advisory in Effect for Bolingbrook, Driving Conditions May be 'Treacherous'

A freezing rain advisory is in effect for Bolingbrook until 9 p.m. Sunday night.

Freezing rain, possibly with a short period of sleet, is predicted in Bolingbrook Sunday, according to the National Weather Service

The rain will move into the area by midday and continue into the evening. By mid-evening, temperatures are expected to rise above freezing and rain is expected late this evening. 

Ice accumulations of a "couple tenths of an inch" are possible in the area before temperatures rise.

Since the pavement is below freezing, rain will freeze on untreated roads and result in "icy and dangerous travel conditions." Sideways could also become icy.
