From the Scene: Chief Describes Plane Crash Response

One person confirmed dead and no injuries on the ground in small plane crash.

One person died in a small plane crashed near Clow Airport in Bolingbrook early on Wednesday evening, said Bolingbrook Deputy Police Chief Tom Ross. A second individual—a man severely burned—escaped from the flames of the wreck and was taken to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. The deputy chief spoke with reporters on the scene in this video by Patch editor Dawn Aulet.
