'Huge Black Smoke Plume' Visible from Romeoville Fire

Romeoville fire crews are on the scene of a brush fire that started Friday evening.

Fire crews have responded to a brush fire near 675 N. Weber Road, along I-55, according to reports. 

A "huge, black smoke plume" is visible from the area, and readers reported woods on fire near Normantown and Weber Roads.

Readers also reported traffic backups on I-55 in the area.
