iPhones stolen from BRAC basketball courts

Two IPhones were stolen from the basketball courts at the BRAC, 200 S. Lindsey Ln., while the victims were playing basketball between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. The loss was valued at $900.

iPhone sale turns to theft

Officers were called to Lot S of Fernwood Drive for the report of a theft, police said. A 17-year-old was attempting to purchase an IPhone 5 from an unknown subject. The victim gave the subject $130. The unknown subject then ran off at 9:15 p.m.

Car stolen

A 1993 Honda Civic was stolen from a residence on the 400 block of Standish Court between 1 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., police said.

Reckless driving, resisting a peace officer

Erika Martinez, 23, 520 Meeker Ave., Joliet, was arrested at 6:53 a.m. and charged with no tail lights, reckless driving and no valid driver’s license and a 17-year-old was arrested and charged with resisting a peace officer and no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Drive and W. South Frontage Road, police said.

In-state warrant

Kimberly DeLaosa, 34, 606 Preston Dr., was arrested at 6:40 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 700 block of E. Boughton Road, police said.
