In June, it was announced Lowe, who currently stars on NBC's sitcom Parks and Recreation, in a Lifetime movie.

The film was tentatively titled The Drew Peterson Story or Ladykiller. But according to People, the movie will be titled Untouchable and is now shooting in Los Angeles.

The movie will explore the two cases in which one of Peterson's wives was killed and another mysteriously disappeared and is based on Shorewood Patch Editor Joseph Hosey's nonfiction book, Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives of Drew Peterson.

"I have to say, it's an interesting choice," Hosey said. "They're really going to have to ugly him up, but that's showbiz, I guess."

Peterson allegedly drowned his third wife, Kathleen Savio, in March 2004 but was not arrested until the disappearance of his next wife, Stacy Peterson, attracted attention to her death.

The former Bolingbrook police officer recently was the focus of a  titled Waiting for Drew Peterson

Earlier this month, Peterson’s latest plea to get out of jail fell on deaf ears, as an appellate court shot it down and told him he’s not going anywhere.

Jailed since May 2009 on charges he murdered Savio, Peterson has been waiting on the appellate court to return a decision on what hearsay evidence can be used against him at trial.

The appellate court has been mulling over the matter for just shy of a year.

An airing date for the movie has yet to be announced.
