Man Charged with Making Obscene Phone Calls: Bolingbrook Police
Endangering the life of a child, possession of marijuana and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of April 24 and 25.

Obscene phone calls
Felix Garcia-Cabreno, 44, 118 Adams Ct., was arrested at 8:42 p.m. and charged with no valid driver’s license, obscene phone calls and improper lighting following a traffic stop at Lily Cache Lane and Orchard Drive, police said.

Resisting a peace officer, disorderly conduct
Michael Poncar, 28, 116 Park Ct., was arrested at 10:48 p.m. and charged with resisting a peace officer and disorderly conduct on the 100 block of Nutwood Court, police said.

In-state warrant
Brian Robinson, 30, 328 Kirkwood Cir., was arrested at 2 a.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 500 block of Remington Boulevard, police said.
April 24
Endangering the life of a child
Charles Asamnoah, 55, 297 Pueblo Dr. was arrested at 7:38 p.m. and charged with endangering life of a child, police said.
Possession of marijuana
Victor Mendez, 20, 3016 W. Nantucket Dr., Joliet, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. and charged with possession of cannabis, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and a seat belt violation following a traffic stop at Schmidt Road and Blackhawk Drive, police said.
Theft from Best Buy
Officers were called to Best Buy, 315 N. Weber Rd., for the report of a retail theft, police said. The thief entered the store removed a Nintendo 3DS XL from packaging, placed in jacket and exited the only paying for a game at 5:21 p.m. The loss was valued at $200.
iPhone stolen from business
An iPhone5 was stolen from a business on the 100 block of Remington Boulevard while the victim was having dinner at 8 p.m., police said.
Resisting a peace officer
Darius Wells, 22, 305 Woodcreek Dr., was arrested at 12:15 p.m. and charged with resisting a peace officer after a disturbance on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road, police said.
