No One Hurt in I-55 Car Fire

Blaze slowed traffic on northbound 55 Sunday afternoon.

No injuries were reported when a vehicle caught fire at around 3 p.m. on I-55, Plainfield Deputy Fire Chief Jon Stratton said.

The blaze happened on I-55 between Route 30 and Route 126, police said. 

According to Stratton, two people were in the vehicle but were able to get out before it was engulfed by flames.
