Pair Charged with Breaking Car Windows: Bolingbrook Police Blotter
Residential burglary, graffiti found on school door and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of May 23-24.
May 23
Theft from Wal-Mart
Valencia Cooper, 37, 116 E. Robinhood Way, was arrested at 4:53 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., police said.
Car window broken
A window to a vehicle parked on the 600 block of Cleavland Drive was broken between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., police said.
Criminal damage to property
Fabian Martinez, 18, 411 Gainsborough Ct., was arrested at 9:34 a.m. and charged with criminal damage to property on the 500 block of E. Boughton Road, police said.
Criminal trespass to property
Harry Coulombe, 58, was arrested at 6:38 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass to property on the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive, police said.
Graffiti on school door
Someone wrote graffiti on the concrete near a school door on the 1800 block of Apple Valley Road between 9:15 a.m. and 3:35 p.m., police said.
May 24
Pair charged with breaking car windows
Jessie Hernandez, 19, 58634 S. Nashville, Chicago and Tony Hernandez, 36, 5212 Kedzie St., Chicago, were both arrested at 9:23 a.m. and charged with two counts of burglary to motor vehicle and criminal damage to property on the 500 block of Janes Avenue, police said. Witness saw the suspects break windows to cars in the parking lot.
Residential burglary
Officers were called to the 400 block of Devonshire Lane for the report of a residential burglary, police said. A 50” TV and laptop were taken from the residence between 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Employee ID, CD’s stolen from parked car
An employee ID and numerous CD’s were stolen from a car parked on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive between May 24 and 25, police said.
Reckless driving
Bradley Murphy, 23, 370 DePaul Ct., Romeoville, was arrested at 7:14 a.m. and charged with reckless driving on the 300 block of Crossroads Parkway, police said.
DUI
Brian Fitch, 35, 319 47th Ave., Bellwood, was arrested at 2:55 a.m. and charged with DUI following a traffic stop in Lot I of Beaconridge Drive, police said.
In-state warrant
Brian Nash, 26, 1840 N. Linder Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 7:20 p.m. and charged with a traffic sign violation and an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Drive and Beaconridge Drive, police said.
In-state warrant
Audrey Bruce, 41, 313 Windcrest Ct., was arrested at 9:46 a.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road, police said.
