Apparent Parking Spot Dispute Lands Two in the Hospital With Stab Wounds

Police said neither injury appeared to be life threatening.

Bolingbrook police are still investigating an altercation earlier this month which appeared to stem from a disagreement over a parking spot and left two with stab wounds.

Police were called at 1:18 a.m. June 3 to the 200 block of Creekside Drive after getting a report that about 10 people were fighting, including one with a gun.

Upon arrival, police said no weapon was found but several individuals were located, including one with a stab wound to the abdomen.

A 21 year-old male of Crest Hill was transported to Good Samaritan hospital where he underwent emergency surgery, police said.

A 17-year-old had been struck with a large stick, police said. It was also discovered he suffered from a stab wound and was transported to .

The preliminary investigation indicated the incident originated from a disagreement over a parking spot and still remains under investigation.
