Police Blotter: $10k Worth of Electronics Snatched from Bolingbrook Home

Warrant

Johnny Papastefan, 21, of the 600 block of Hillcrest Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant, failure to signal and improper lane usage following a traffic stop at the intersection of Lily Cache Lane and Brookview Lane.

DUI

Heriberto Mantiel-Trejo, 34, of the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive in Downers Grove, was charged with DUI and resisting a peace officer following a traffic stop on the 600 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive at 2:33 a.m.

Fuel taken from truck

Diesel fuel was taken from a truck parked on the 500 block of Territorial Drive between 3:10 a.m. and 3:25 a.m. Loss valued at $200.

Teen breaks windows with a bat

A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with criminal damage to property after breaking car windows with a  bat on the 300 block of Kirkwood Circle at 7:15 p.m.

Two cars stolen from same driveway

A 1997 red Buick Park Avenue and a 1985 Blue Cadillac DeVille were taken from a driveway on the 600 block of Briarcliff Road sometime between July 18 and July 19.

$10,000 worth of electronics and jewelry stolen

Police responded to the 200 block of North Canyon Drive for the report of a residential burglary. Homeowners told police they found a rear door open and a PS3, 32-inch TV, iPad, a laptop, a Mac Book, camcorder and numerous pieces of jewelry were taken between 5 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. Loss valued at $10,000.
