Police Blotter: $1,450 in Electronics Snatched from Car

1. Warrants

Joel Bustamante, 23, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, was charged with two in-state warrants at 3:30 a.m.

2. Theft

Police were called to the Baskin Robbins at 751 E. Boughton Rd. for the report of a theft. A witness told police that several quick changes were made with an unknown subject and later discovered $137 was short from the register.

3. Warrant

James Walton, 21, of the 100 block of Garden Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 200 block of North Schmidt Road at 12 a.m.

4. Car burglary

Police were called to the 100 block of Tecumseh Drive for the report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. The owner told police they found a door open and a laptop, flash drives and external hard drives were taken between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. Loss valued at $1,450.
