Police Blotter: 17-Year-Old Charged With Jacking Cake Knife From Car

Bolingbrook police reports, Nov. 2-10.

Thursday, Nov. 10

1. Stolen cars

A 1999 Honda Accord and 1996 Toyota Camry were taken from the parking lot on the 200 block of Old Chicago Drive between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

2. Domestic battery

Victor Guzman, 18, of the 400 block of Canyon Drive, was charged with domestic battery following a call to the home for a domestic dispute at 6:21 p.m.

3. Battery

Lillian McPhee, 23, of the 400 block of Alcester Circle, was charged with an in-state warrant, resisting a peace officer and battery. Laurin McPhee, 31, of the 400 block of Alcester Court, was charged with speeding, failure to yield, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and DUI after a traffic stop at 1:02 a.m.

4. Retail theft

Police were called to the Meijer at 755 E. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft. A witness told police they saw unknown subjects take a bottle of liquor, two cases of beer and exit the store without paying at 4:25 p.m. Loss valued at $30.

5. DUI

James Pochucki, 31, of the 400 block of Hamrick Avenue in Romeoville, was charged with failure to reduce speed, improper lane usage, no insurance and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop on the 500 block of Remington Boulevard at 9:39 p.m.

6. Retail theft

Michael Moore, 22, of the 1000 block of Walden Court, was charged with retail theft at Meijer, located at 225 N. Weber Rd., at 4:25 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 9

7. Stolen bike

A bicycle was taken from the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive between 3:20 p.m. and 3:50 p.m.

8. Residential burglary

Police were called to the 1200 block of Quail Run for the report of a residential burglary. The owner told police they heard a noise and went to investigate and discovered an unknown person in the home. The subject exited via the rear door and fled the area at 2:38 p.m.

9. Pedestrian violation

Brian Siblik, 35, of the 500 block of Sundance Drive, was charged with a pedestrian violation at the intersection of Buckeye Drive and Flagstaff Avenue at 9:57 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 8

10. Theft

Jessica Kittle, 26, of the 2100 block of McKool Avenue in Romeoville, was charged with theft from a previous incident on Oct. 22 on the 500 block of Kildeer Drive.

Saturday, Nov. 5

11. Car burglary

Police were called to the 100 block of Monticello Drive for the report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. Three unknown subjects took several items of clothing, a pair of earrings, miscellaneous loose change and a cake knife from a car on Nov. 5. A 17-year-old was charged with burglary to a motor vehicle. Loss valued at $500.

Friday, Nov. 4

12. Tools stolen from car

A GPS unit, laser level, laser measurer, auto taper, taping pump, finishing box and finishing pump with filler were taken from an unlocked car parked on the 100 block of South Palmer Drive between Nov. 4 and Nov. 5. Loss valued at $2,700.

Thursday, Nov. 3

13. Retail theft

Valerie Bell, 22, of the 2100 block of West Washington Avenue in Chicago, was charged with retail theft at Charming Charlie’s, located at 623 E. Boughton Rd., at 6:51 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 2

14. Failure to report an accident

A 15-year-old was charged with failure to report an accident, reckless driving, no valid driver’s license and no insurance following a traffic stop at the intersection of Buckeye Drive and Schmidt Road at 12 a.m.
