Thursday, Oct. 6

1. Public indecency

Lonnie Ward, 48, of the 400 block of Yorkshire Square, was charged with public indecency and disorderly conduct following a call to the 400 block of Yorkshire Square for a neighborhood disturbance at 5:16 p.m.

2. Aggravated battery

Jesus Simms, 18, of the 1300 block of Parkside Drive, was charged with aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery after stabbing a family member with a pocket knife following a verbal argument.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

3. Retail theft

Margaret Cartwright, 22, of the 200 block of Sutton Drive in Darien, was charged with retail theft at Petland, 744 E. Boughton Rd., after removing cash from the register on several occasions.

4. Endangering the life of a child

Nicholas Lazzara, 29, of the 200 block of Hampdon Court, was charged with endangering the life of a child and reckless conduct following a call to the residence at 11:25 p.m. for the report of a domestic dispute.
