Police Blotter: $2,070 Stolen from Dunkin' Donuts

1. $2,070 taken from Dunkin Donuts

Police responded to the Dunkin Donuts on 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., for the report of a theft. Police said $2,070 was taken between July 20 and July 23.

2. Assault

John Annerino, 45, of the 400 block of Salem Square,w as charged with a ssault and resisting a peace officer following a call to Lot E of Beaconridge Drive for a domestic disturbance at 1:47 a.m.

3. Tools stolen from car

A car parked on the 200 block of Remington Boulevard had the driver’s side door lock damaged and several tools were taken between July 23 and July 24.

4. DUI

Catherine Rudman, 27, of the 700 block of 73rd Street in Willowbrook, was charged with DUI and improper lane usage following a traffic stop at the intersection of Boughton Road and Schmidt Road.

5. Residential burglary

Police were called to the 200 block of Bedford Road for the report of a residential burglary in progress. The homeowner told police they discovered an unknown subject in the house when they arrived home at 9 p.m. The subject ran out a rear door when confronted.

6. Robber rummages through bedroom

Police were called to the 200 block of Kenilworth Drive for the report of a residential burglary. Police said the rear door of the residence was forced open and the frame broken. The bedroom was rummaged through and the owners were unaware of what may have been taken. The crime took place between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

7. Car broken into

A car parked in Lot H of Beaconridge Drive was broken into and an iPod, cell phone charger and Oakley sunglasses were taken between July 22 and July 23.

8. Public drunkenness

Jermaine Roberts, 39, of the 7000 block of Walnut Drive in Woodridge, was charged with public drunkenness on the 100 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.

9. Warant

Jordan Handley, 24, of the 400 block of Mallview Lane was charged with three in-state warrants following a traffic stop on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive at 10:30 a.m.

10. Suspended license

Cortez Sanders, 25, of the 300 block of Delaware Drive, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no turn signal following a traffic top on the 300 block of North Schmidt Road at 7:03 p.m.
