Police Blotter: 24-Year-Old Involved in Drunk Hit and Run

1. DUI and hit and run

Blaine Panitch, 24, of the first block of Palos Court, was charged with DUI, hit and run and speeding following a traffic stop at 107 a.m.

2. Warrant

Devonti Gilmore, 18, of the 700 block of Linden Court, was charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop on the 500 block of west Briarcliff Road at 11:$6 a.m.

3. DUI/drugs

Aidan Marquez-Martinez, 18, of the 300 block of Walnut Circle, wa charged with DUI/drugs following a traffic stop at the intersection of Boughton Road and Barbers Corner at 11:28 p.m.

4. Fight

Police were on patrol on Lot S on Fernwood Drive for the report of a fight at 2:33 p.m. A 17-year-old was charged with resisting a peace officer and sale of tobacco products to a minor.

5. Theft

Police responded to the 400 block of Yorkshire Square for the report of a theft. A computer monitor and money were taken from a home between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Loss valued at more than $1,900.

6. Battery

Police responded to the Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital for the report of a battery. A juvenile was battered on the 300 block of Raider Way at 4:15 p.m.
