Thursday, May 12

Criminal damage to a car

Carlos Delacruz, 27, of the 200 block of Diane Lane, was charged with criminal damage to a car, resisting a peace officer after he broke several windows to a car on the 200 block of Malibu Court, police said.

Wednesday, May 11

Home burglary

A homeowner said a laptop, digital camera and several pieces of jewelry were taken from a home on the 100 block of Delmar Drive, police said.

Retail theft

Police say a witness saw a person try on a pair of Nike shoes, place the old shoes in the box and leave the store with the new shoes on. The report says the person entered a waiting vehicle outside the store on the 1100 block of West Boughton Road.

Criminal trespassing

Anthony Contreras, 19, was charged with criminal trespass to property and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, police said.

Resisting a peace officer

Terrell MacFarland, 28, of the 200 block of Prairie Circle, was charged with resisting a peace officer on the 100 block of North Bolingbrook Drive, police said.

Warrant

Phelesian Tyler, 21, of the 300 block of Lacrosse Drive, was charged with an outstanding warrant on the 200 block of Sioux Lane, police said.

Lewis Burton, 27, of the 17000 block of South Clyde Avenue in South Holland, was charged with an in-state warrant, police said.

Tuesday, May 10

Necklace ripped from woman’s neck

Police responded to the 200 block of North Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a robbery. A witness said two unknown subjects approached the victim and ripped a necklace off her neck and ran off around 2:30 p.m., police said.

Stolen copper wire

Copper wire was cut from an air conditioning on the 200 block of Old Elm Drive, police said.

May 9

Stolen interlock system

A car parked on the 100 block of Shady Lane was forced open and the interlock system was taken, police said.

Battery

Officers were called to the 100 block of Remington Boulevard for the report of a battery. The witness said they were punched several times in the head, police said.

Victim spat upon in the face

Officers were called to the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a battery. The witness said after a verbal argument, they were spit on in the face, police said.

Stolen copper wire

Copper wiring was cut and removed from a job site on the 100 block of Joy Drive, police said.

May 8

DUI

Seth Fosu, 28, of the 300 block of Kirkwood Circle, was charged with two counts of DIU and improper backing, police said.

May 7

DUI

Cody Rousseau-Zablockil, 19, of the 200 block of Seabury Road, was charged with DUI and a moving violation, police said.

Josue Zavala, 19, of the 400 block of Salem Square, was charged with DUI, police said.

Harold Peterson, 29, of the 300 block of Willoway Drive, was charged with two counts of DUI and a traffic violation, police said.

May 6

DUI

Heather Hoxie, 28, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, was charged with speeding, improper lane usage, no insurance and DUI, police said.

Cops break up loud party

A 14-year-old juvenile was charged with a curfew violation and a 17-year-old juvenile was charged with failure to disperse and resisting a peace officer. David Rios, 18, of the 300 block of Grand Canyon Drive, was charged with failure to disperse, resisting a peace officer and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Three juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct. Brandon Stephens, 19, of the 100 block of Wedgewood Drive, and Kwaku Astobam, 18, of the 300 block of Clifton Avenue, were both charged with failure to disperse and a 15-year-old juvenile was charged with curfew and failure to disperse on the 200 block of Winston Drive, following a complaint of a loud party and a fight at 11:30 p.m., police said.

Violating order of protection

Douglas Baer, 34, of the first block of Fernwood Drive, was charged with violating an order of protection, police said.

May 5

Big fight

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with mob action and disorderly conduct. Jeremy Durr, 18, of the 300 block of Hickory Drive in Romeoville, and Marquise Flowers, 19, of the 400 block of Ascot Lane in Romeoville, were both charged with battery, disorderly conduct and mob action. Eduardo Serrano, 19, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, was charged with criminal damage to property, mob action and disorderly conduct, following a call to Lot J Beaconridge Drive for a fight at 6:47 pm., police said.

Stolen hair extensions

Police responded to a business on the 400 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a theft. A witness said the suspects entered a storage room of the business and took approximately 125 packs of hair extensions, valued at $12,500, police said.

May 3

Company-paid gas resold

Police responded the 500 block of South Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a theft. A witness said the suspect purchased numerous gallons of gas on a company credit card, then resold the gasoline for cash.
