Police Blotter: 8 Catalytic Converters Cut from Cars on Weber Road, Bolingbrook Drive

Also, police report criminal damage to vehicle and aggravated assault on Foxborough Drive.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department:

Sept. 24: A wallet was taken from a secured locker on the 500 block of N. Janes Ave. between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Sept. 24: Eight catalytic converters were cut from vehicles parked on the 100-200 block of N. Weber Road, 200 block of N. Bolingbrook Dr. & the 100 block of S. Weber Road between 1-11:30 p.m.

Sept. 25: Ernie Smith, 30, 486 Seneca Lane, was charged with driving on a suspended license, speeding, in-state warrant and obstructing justice following a traffic stop at Route 53 & Boughton Road at 2:03 a.m.

Sept. 25: Jason McDaniel, 35, 4550 W. 103rd Drive, Oak Lawn, was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road at 8:29 p.m.

Sept. 25: Officers responded to the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a robbery. The victim was approached by an unknown suspect who grabbed the victim’s prescription medication and U.S. currency and ran off at 2:08 p.m. Loss valued at more than $45.

Sept. 25: Officers responded to the 200 block of Homewood Drive for the report of a theft. A tool box and decorations were taken from the residence between 9 a.m. and 5:47 p.m.

Sept. 25: Marcus Olutayo, 23, 4042 W. Kamerling Ave., Chicago, was charged with criminal damage to vehicle and aggravated assault following an incident on the 400 block of Foxborough Drive.

Sept. 25: Robin Johnson, 22, 360 Stonegate Road, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 400 block of Standish Drive at 2:29 p.m.

Sept. 26: Officers were called to the 500 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of burglary to motor vehicle. A pair of jeans and U.S. currency were taken at 4:03 a.m.

Sept. 26: Christopher Bruno, 26, 736 Westwind Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Lily Cache Lane & Raider Way at 12:07 a.m.
