Hit and run

Fnu Sjahera, 23, 3 Pebble Court, was charged with failure to report an accident and hit and run at 6:04 p.m. in the 200 block of North Weber Road.

DUIs

  • Karen Shelby, 44, 6 Fernwood Drive, was charged with failure to signal, illegal transportation of alcohol, and driving under the influence of alcohol at 5:26 a.m. following a traffic stop in Lot Q of Fernwood Drive.
  • Chakia Black-Williams, 23, 736 Countywide Drive, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage and driving too fast for conditions at 3:23 a.m. following a traffic stop at East North Frontage and Upton roads.
  • Ricardo Guerrero, 20, 225 Creekside Drive, was charged with DUI and resisting peace officer at 1:52 a.m. following a traffic stop at Weber and Boughton roads.

Battery, retail theft

Roisaura Espinoza, 38, 408 Allen Sr., Joliet, was charged with battery and retail theft at 4:23 p.m. at , 645 E. Boughton Road.

Purse stolen

A purse was taken from a vehicle between noon and 4:15 p.m. in the 200 block of Weber Road. Reports state the vehicle window was broken to gain entry.
