Tuesday, April 3

Vacant home vandalized

Someone rummaged through a vacant home in the 200 block of South Pinecrest. Reports state walls had holes, kitchen cabinets were removed, light fixtures were broken and glass was found throughout the house.

Cell phone stolen

A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle between 11:50 a.m. and 12:55 p.m. in the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive. Reports state a window was broken during the burglary.

Two net burglary to motor vehicle charges

Timothy Williams, 19, 216 Porter Lane, and a 16-year-old were charged with burglary to a motor vehicle at 10:29 p.m. in the 100 block of Pamela Drive.

Wednesday, April 4

Armed robbery

Officers responded to the 700 block of Falconridge Way for the report of a battery. Reports state the victim was walking along Falconridge Way at 8:47 p.m. when approached by several unknown suspects who demanded the victim’s wallet, punched the victim several times and displayed a handgun. The victim was transported with injuries to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.

GPS cord, radar detector stolen

A radar detector and GPS cord, valued together at $400, were stolen from a vehicle between April 3 and April 4 in the 200 block of Diane Lane. Reports state a window was broken to gain access.
