Police Blotter: Armed Robbery, Plenty of DUIs

Bolingbrook police reports, Oct. 9-10.

Monday, Oct. 10

1. DUI

Mauricio Segura, 45, of the 400 block of Seminole Lane, was charged with DUI, no valid driver’s license, improper lane usage and failure to signal following a traffic stop on the 400 block of West Boughton Road at 2:10 a.m.

2. Armed robbery

Police responded to the parking lot on the 100 block of North Weber Road for the report of an armed robbery. The offender displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim gave the subject money and the offenders drove off at 10:36 a.m.

Sunday, Oct. 9

3. DUI and obstruction of justice

Jorge Lopez, 45, of the 1000 block of Bothwell Circle, was charted with DUI, driving on a suspended license, disobeying a traffic signal, no insurance and obstructing justice following a traffic stop at the intersection of Winston Drive and Porter Lane at 2:20 a.m.

4. Stolen car

A 2002 Ford Taurus was taken from the business parking lot on the 200 block of Old Chicago Drive between Oct. 7 and Oct. 9.

5. Aggravated DUI

Teofilo Nateras, 31, of the 4700 block of Winchester Avenue in Lisle, was charged with DUI, aggravated DUI and no insurance following a traffic stop at the intersection of Boughton Road and Pinecrest Road at 3 a.m.

6. DUI

Juan Pizano, 27, of the 300 block of Gehrig Circle, was charged with aggravated DUI, aggravated battery, no valid driver’s license, DUI and resisting arrest following a traffic stop at Lily Court and Coventry Lane at 11:46 a.m.
