Police Blotter: Battery, DUI & Warrant Arrests

Bolingbrook police a robbery in the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive and theft of motor vehicle parts on the 100 block of East South Frontage Road.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Oct. 17: Jalill R. Hudson, 30 Wildwood GG, Bolingbrook, was booked by Will County Sheriff’s police on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and possesion of cannabis (less than 2.5 grams). He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Oct. 8: Carlos Hernandez, 20, 450 Greentree Lane, was charged with improper use of registration, driving on a suspended license, possession of drug equipment and an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Creekside Drive & Lily Cashe Lane at 9:41 a.m.

Oct. 8: Officers were called to a business on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a robbery. Two unknown subjects approached the victim while on break outside, grabbed the victim’s wrist and wrestled away a cell phone at 10:28 p.m. before running off.

Oct. 8: Edward Dean, 75, 2014 Kedvale Drive, Chicago, was charged with criminal damage to property and theft of motor vehicle parts after removing several vehicle emblems from a vehicle on the 100 block of East South Frontage Road at 11:42 a.m. Damage/loss valued at $4,000.

Oct. 9: A cellphone was taken from an office on the 100 block of Winston Drive between 11-11:30 a.m. Loss valued at $300.

Oct. 9: A purse was taken from the 500 block of Preston Drive while the victim was unloading packages between 1:30-1:35 p.m.

Oct. 9: Andrew Herskind, 18, 136 Olympic Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 100 block of East Briarcliff Road at 12:01 p.m.

Oct. 9: Todd Andrew, 50, 268 Plainview Drive, was charged with aggravated battery following an incident on the 900 block of Lily Cache Lane at 3:20 p.m.

Oct. 9: Laurie Fragoso, 39, 709 Melissa Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant at 10 a.m.

Oct. 9: Ramon Lopez, 51, 420 Greentree Lane, was charged with no valid registration, no valid driver’s license and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop on the 100 block of East Briarcliff Road at 3:25 a.m.

Oct. 9: Lamont Brown, 21, 9 172nd St. Hammond, Ind., was charged with improper lane usage, failure to signal, driving on a suspended license and possession of stolen property following a traffic stop on the 200 block of Remington Blvd. at 3:34 a.m.
