Police Blotter: Battery, DUI & Warrant Arrests

Also, police report several vehicles were rummaged through, cash and credit cards were stolen during incidents on Somerfield Drive and Schafer Avenue.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Dec. 12: Lisa M. Leuders, 234 Woodlet, Bolingbrook, was booked on charges of improper traffic lane usage, driving while under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failing to reduce speed and uninsured motor vehicle/bodily harm. She was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Dec. 4: Several vehicles were rummaged through on the 1400 block of Somerfield Drive and the 1400 block of Schafer Ave. U.S. currency, pocket knives, a purse and credit cards were taken from vehicles.

Dec. 4: Kyle Roberson, 27, 22V Fernwood Drive, was charged with battery at 12:20 a.m.

Dec. 4: Officers responded to Victoria’s Secret, 641 E. Boughton Road, for the report of retail theft. Suspects took numerous pieces of clothing from display and exited the store without paying at 6:45 p.m. Loss valued at $1,200.

Dec. 4: Tires were punctured on a vehicle in Lot G of Wildwood Lane between 10-10:35 p.m.

Dec. 4: Joel Rodriguez Jr., 31, 1510 Highland Ave., Joliet, was charged with driving on a suspended license, failure to yield and two in-state warrants following a traffic stop at Brookview Lane and Lily Cache Lane at 8:01 p.m.

Dec. 4: Michael Braxton Jr., 21, 1531 Shagbark Drive, was charged with driving on a suspended license, traffic sign violation, no insurance and an in-state warrant on the 200 block of South Palmer Drive at 8:59 a.m.
