Police Blotter: Burglars Get Away with Home Invasion
Bolingbrook police reports, Aug. 5-6.
Saturday, Aug. 6
1. DUI
Mario Meza, 37, of the first block of Scarlet Court, was charged with driving too fast for conditions, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and DUI following a traffic stop on the 1500 block of Remington Boulevard at 12:12 a.m.

2. Warrant
Jesus Garcia, 45, of the 300 block of Huntington Way, was charged with an in-state warrant and driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop at the intersection of Briarcliff Road and Franklin Court at 8:16 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 5
3. Car window broken
A window was broke out from a car parked on the 300 block of Clarendon Drive between Aug. 5 and Aug. 6.
4. Residential burglary
Police responded to the 200 block of Berkeley Drive for the report of a residential burglary. The homeowner told police they heard noises in the kitchen at 11:45 p.m. It was later discovered that a wallet and a cell phone were taken. Loss valued at $650.
5. Theft
Temika Anderson, 28, of the 15000 block of Singleside Avenue in Dalton, was charged with theft at Walmart, located at 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., at 12:50 p.m.
6. Warrant
Antonio Lara, 19, of the 24000 block of West Leski Lane in Plainfield, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Route 53 and Rockhurst Road at 8:35 p.m.
7. Warrant
Cornelle Brown, 41, of the 600 block of Barclay Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 200 block of North Bolingbrook Drive at 10:41 a.m.
