Police Blotter: Credit Card Fraud, Wallet and Insurance Card Stolen

Resisting a peace officer, theft from Target and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of July 8.

July 8 

Theft from Target 

Derick Rimpson, 18, of 808 Grove Ln., was arrested at 1 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Target, 1188 W. Boughton Rd., said.

Warrant 

Brian Fitch, 35, of 4001 W. Devon Ave. in Chicago, was arrested and charged with a warrant on the 400 block of Devonshire Lane, police said.

Credit card fraud, resisting a peace officer 

Paris Govan, 18, of 252 Tudor Ct., was arrested at 4:59 p.m. and charged with credit card fraud and resisting a peace officer on the 100 block of Lily Cache Lane, police said. 

Suspended registration and license, driving under the influence 

Carl Banks, 33, of 7 Wood Ct., was arrested and charged with suspended registration, driving on a suspended license and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Route 53, police said. 

Wallet, insurance card taken from purse

A wallet and insurance card were taken from a purse between 4 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. on the 400 block of Quadrangle Drive, police said. The wallet was later found in the restroom.
