Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, DUI & Warrant Arrests

Also, thieves reportedly make off with $1,800 in ruse burglary on Cypress Drive.

The following property damage, theft, violence and traffic incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department and Will County Sheriff’s office:

Sept. 28: Drayon A. Winston, 33, 113 Camelot, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Bolingbrook police on charges of domestic battery/physical contact, criminal damage to property and assault. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Sept. 28: Tyra D. Northern, 457 Seminole, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Bolingbrook police on charges of aggravated battery, obstructing an officer, driving while under the influence of alcohol, failure to notify damage to an unattended vehicle, failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Sept. 29: Richard A. Kurzweil, 38, 830 Summit, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Illinois State Police District 5 on a charge of aggravated DUI. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Sept. 18: A PS3 was taken from a residence on the 1400 block of Glenside Drive between Sept. 17-18. Loss valued at $350.

Sept. 18: Officers responded to the 100 block of Cypress Drive for the report of a residential burglary. Unknown suspect approached the victims asking to see the property line; it was then discovered U.S. currency was taken from a bedroom. Loss valued at $1,800.

Sept. 19: Delavonta Stapleton, 25, 507 Jill Lane, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road at 9 a.m.

Sept. 19: Ronald Laury, 23, 108 Winston Court, was charged with criminal trespass to property and resisting a peace officer following a call to a business on the 11000 block of Remington Blvd. at 5:06 a.m.

Sept. 19: David Ostrwoski, 38, 2209 Hiawatha Drive, Woodridge, was charged with a violation of an order of protection at 10 a.m.
