Tuesday, Aug. 2
1. Stolen car
A 2003 Ford Explorer was taken from a driveway on the 1400 block of Schoenherr Avenue between 5 p.m. and 9:52 p.m.

2. Residential burglary
Police were called to the 200 block of Braemar Court for the report of a residential burglary. The homeowner told police they discovered a glass door broken and numerous jewelry items taken between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 1
3. Illegal liquor access
Pierre McGee, 24, of the 2500 block of Sumac Drive in Joliet, was charged with illegal liquor access and resisting a peace officer after a call to Lot O of Beaconridge Drive at 11:50 p.m.
4. Stolen computer
A laptop computer was taken from a home on the Pennsbury Court between July 30 and August 1. Loss valued at $600.
5. Aggravated Assault and possession of a controlled substance
Brett Dunkel, 32, of the 2900 block of Curtis Street in Downers Grove, was charged with resisting a police officer, two counts of aggravated assault and an outstanding warrant. In the same incident, Stephen Kappa, 26, of the 700 block of Victoria Lane in Schaumburg, was charged with possession of a controlled substance an in-state warrant following a call to the 100 block of North Weber Road of suspicious persons.
6. Criminal trespass to property
Agustin Francisco, 24, of the 200 block of North Pinecrest Road, was charged with criminal trespass to property on the 500 block of Cades Court at 8:13 a.m.
