Police Blotter: Drugs, Battery and Burglary

Possession of controlled substances, drug equipment and more in the July 11 Bolingbrook police blotter.

July 11 

Possession of drug equipment and controlled substances and in-state warrants

Martin Hopper, 33, of 727 N. Grand Ave. in Springfield, was arrested at 9:16 p.m. and charged with two in-state warrants, possession of drug equipment and possession of controlled substance following a traffic stop on the 100 block of E. North Frontage Road, said. 

Possession of controlled substance, drug equipment, intent to delivery 

Jose Speedon, 31, of 501 N. 4th St. in Fairbury, was arrested at 9:16 p.m. and charged with a seat belt violation, possession with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug equipment following a traffic stop on the 100 block of E. North Frontage Road, police said. 

In-state warrant

Myisha Bridges, 32, of 13L Fernwood Dr., was arrested at 4 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road, police said. 

Residential burglary 

Officers responded to the 100 block of Seabury Road for the report of a residential burglary, police said. The homeowner heard a rear door opening and saw an unknown person running through the backyard at 12:43 a.m.

Battery 

Two women were arrested following the report of a fight in the 500 block of Kildeer Drive at 6:36 p.m., police said. Tashiana Gant, 19, of 606 Preston Dr., was arrested and charged with battery and Kimberly Hollister, 25, of 606 Preston Dr., was arrested and charged with battery and an in-state warrant. 

Theft from Meijer 

Kimberly Long, 43, of 4N 120 Kaelin in West Chicago, was arrested at 5:09 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., police said. 

In-state warrant

Adam Cappello, 20, of 4 West Bailey Rd., Naperville, was arrested at 9:40 a.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of Deering Lane, police said.
