Police Blotter: DUI, Domestic Battery & Retail Theft Incidents

Police report a wig valued at $80 was swiped from beauty shop in 100 block of East Briarcliff Road.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Oct. 7: Jose A. Renteria, 42, 185 Farm Gate, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Romeoville police on charges of driving under the influence (BAC .08), transporting or carrying alcoholic liquor (driver), driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked or suspended DUI, improper turn signal, illegal stopping/standing. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Oct. 5: Eduardo Puga, 40, 269 Lyons, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Bolingbrook police on a charge of domestic battery/physical contact. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Oct. 4: Adan Merino-Cervantes, 25, 567 Red Barn, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Bolingbrook police on a charge of domestic battery/physical contact. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Oct. 6: Jorge Alvarez, 46, 280 Fox Bend, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Bolingbrook police on a charge of domestic battery/physical contact. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Sept. 24: Officers responded to Nicole’s Beauty Supply on the 100 block of E. Briarcliff Road for the report of a retail theft. Suspect entered the store, took a display wig and exited the store without paying at 4:30 p.m. Loss valued at $80.

Sept. 25: Brian Cielak, 23, 385 Stafford Court, was charged with an in-state warrant at 4:23 p.m.

Sept. 25: Jason McDaniel, 35, 4550 W. 103rd Drive, Oak Lawn, was charged with disorderly conduct after suspicious behavior on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road at 8:50 p.m.
