Police Blotter: DUI, Retail Theft & Unlawful Use of Weapon Arrests

Arrests made by Bolingbrook police and other law enforcement agencies.

The following property damage, theft, violence and traffic incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department and Will County Sheriff’s office:

Sept. 20: Joel Gonzalez, 29, 9 Fernwood, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police on charges of aggravated DUI and no valid driver's license. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Sept. 22: Martiniano M. Apanco, 43, 102 Greentree, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Romeoville police on charges of DUI (BAC 0.08), operating an uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed, driving 1-10 mph above the limit and transport or carry. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Sept. 5: Maja Johnson, 28, 1675 Kiwa Drive, Naperville, was charged with retail theft from Meijer, 225 N. Weber Road, between July 21-Aug. 15.

Sept. 9: Officers were called to Costco, 830 E. Boughton Road, for the report of a retail theft. Subjects placed liquor bottles into a less expensive box and paid for the cheaper product at 11:50 a.m. Loss valued at $147.

Sept. 10: Stephanie Buczek, 28, 152 Seabury Road, was charged with DUI, speeding, driving on a suspended license and no insurance following a traffic stop on the 100 block of W. Boughton road at 11:27 p.m.

Sept. 11: Patrick Williams Jr., 22, 443 Mallview Lane, was charged with unlawful use of weapon and possession of cannabis after a call to a lot of Beaconridge Drive at 9:22 p.m.

Sept. 11: Jennifer Calderone, 23, 7811 Brompton Drive, Darien, was charged with DUI, speeding, failure to signal and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop on the 400 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive at 10:04 p.m.
