Car window smashed
A purse, iPod, DL, credit cards and a bag of clothing were taken from a car parked on the 300 block of Delaware Drive, police said. Reports said the car had one of its windows smashed out. Loss valued at $700.

Aggravated assault
David Paulsen, 44, of the 5000 block of South 5th Avenue in Hines, was charged with aggravated assault on the 300 block of West Briarcliff Road after a previous incident on the 700 block of East Boughton Road, police said.

Rashas Owens, 22, of the 400 block of Seneca Lane, was charged with DUI, police said.

Tuesday, April 19Burglary
Officers responded to a business on the 500 block of East Boughton Road for the report of a burglary. Police said the owner found the front door shattered and the cash register and a bank bag were missing. Loss valued at $500.
DUI
Aurelio Vasquez-Morales, 30, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, was charged with three counts of DUI and no valid driver’s license, police said.
Graffiti
Graffiti was found on the door of a business on the 200 block of Recreation Drive, police said.
Monday, April 18Stolen cable
Officers responded to the 300 block of Rockhurst Road, where cable was cut and taken, police said.
Stolen gas
Gas was removed from a business vehicle parked on the 100 block of Barbers Corner, police said.
Neighbors served with warrants
Roberto Ortega, 22, of the 500 block of Preston Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant, driving on a suspended license and no insurance and Edgar Rada, 23, of the 500 block of Preston Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant and resisting a peace officer, police said.
Sunday, April 17DUI
Jalyssa Erickson, 25, of the 900 block of Fairway Drive in Naperville, was charged with DUI, no insurance, improper lane usage and speeding, police said.
Monica Terraza, 46, of the 1000 block of West Briarcliff Road, was charged with DUI, failure to signal and improper lane usage, police said.
Saturday, April 16Ignoring a stop sign
Bunyadi Fatima, 32, of the 7000 block of Woodward Avenue in Woodridge, was charged with disobeying a stop sign, driving on a suspended license and suspended registration, police said.
Warrant
Deshaun Echols, 20, of the 500 block of Gunderson Drive in Carol Stream, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive, police said.
Failure to signal
Anthony Margentina, 18, of the 7000 block of Chestnut Avenue in Woodridge was charged with failure to signal and a moving violation following a traffic stop at the intersection of Janes Avenue and 83rd Street, police said.
DUI
Jeremy Osei, 68, of the 600 block of Derbyshire Drive, was charged with speeding and DUI, police said.
Darius Petkevicius, 42, of the 500 block of Naper Boulevard in Naperville, was charged with two counts of DUI, resisting a peace officer and improper lane usage, police said.
Tire violation … then DUI
Caitlin Arena, 20, of the 24000 block of West Jordan Lane in Plainfield, was charged with a tire violation and two counts of DUI, police said.
Juvenile charged with battery
A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with battery and criminal trespass to property on the 1200 block of West Boughton Road after a call to the business for a disruptive patron.
Residential burglary
Officers responded to the 400 block of Blackawk Lane for the report of a residential burglary. The homeowner told police they woke up to find the garage door open and a purse lying in the driveway. Police said a wallet, credit cards and money were taken.
Possession of a controlled substance
Marco Vizcaino, 30, of the 400 block of Handel Court in Wheaton, was charged with littering and possession of a controlled substance, police said.
Friday, April 15Graffiti
Police said graffiti was found on the side of a home on the 200 block of Cedarwood Lane.
Graffiti was found on the concession building on the 200 block of Recreation Drive and on the door of another nearby business.
Disorderly conduct
Kendrick Taylor, 24, of the first block of Fernwood Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct and illegal transportation of alcohol; and Corey Wright, 23, of the first block of Fernwood Drive, and Timothy Harrod, 23, of the first block of Fernwood Drive, were both charged with disorderly conduct following a call of a fight in Lot D of Fernwood Drive, police said.
Joseph Pryor, 19, of the 500 block of White Oak Road, was charged with disorderly conduct.
Resisting a peace officer
Christopher Long, 22, of the first block of Fernwood Drive, was charged with resisting a peace officer on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive, police said.
Stolen cassette player
A Kenwood cassette player and ignition key were taken from a secured car parked on the 1000 block of Windham Parkway, police said.

A purse was taken from a shopping cart at a business on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive, police said.
A purse and a wallet were taken from a shopping cart while the victim was distracted at a business on the 100 block of S. Weber Road, police said.

Donald Vaughn, 52, of the 100 block of Enclave Circle, was charged with failure to leave and leaving the scene of an accident, police said.

Two men discovered in home
Officers responded to the 500 block of Fuller Lane for the report of a residential burglary. Police said the homeowner discovered two unknown subjects in the residence, who then fled the scene.

McKinley Shields, 18, of the 600 block of Sundance Drive, was charged with residential burglary, police said.

A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with mob action following a fight call on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, police said.

Jerry Williams Jr., 23, of the 1500 block of Marquette Road in Joliet, was charged with assault and criminal trespass to property following a suspicious person call on the 200 block of Beaconridge Drive, police said.
